-
Closed Registration Period - The period of time when a player on
an existing team is assured placement on that team, provided they
register properly. This period extends 2-weeks past the end of the
season or seasonal year.
- Open Registration Period - 2
weeks after the end of the current season or seasonal year, all
vacancies on existing team will be filled by the registrar on a first
come, first served basis.
- Seasonal Year - The seasonal
year in soccer runs from 1 August to 31 July of the following year.
Within that year are the Fall and Spring Season.
- Age Group - Each player is assigned to an age group based on their birthdate for the entire seasonal year.. The quick way to determine a player's age group for the Fall/Spring is to answer "How old is/was the child on 31 July, 2007?" if the answer is, say 12 years old, the child is an UNDER 13 (U13) player for the whole year even if he turns 13 on 1 August.
